“There is nothing more gratifying than to help develop the way a child views the world they live in."
Dr. Andrea Morton was born and raised in Camas, Washington State, where she developed a fascination with optometry from an early age. After graduating from Camas High School, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Washington. She then received her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University’s College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. She graduated with honors while concurrently earning her Master's of Education with a subspecialty in Visual Function in Learning.
Dr. Morton's areas of specialty care include pediatric eye care, vision therapy, neuro-rehabilitation, and sports vision training. She is passionate about helping her patients and the community understand that vision encompasses much more than simply seeing 20/20. Dr. Morton loves the challenge of aiding children in their development and recognizes that by treating underlying vision problems, she can help students read and learn more easily, providing them with greater opportunities and choices in life.
Dr. Morton is dedicated to volunteering and has used her expertise to provide eye exams to underserved children in Jamaica. She continues to offer vision screenings for athletes participating in the Washington Special Olympics. Ecstatic to serve the communities of Camas and Vancouver, Dr. Morton enjoys the great outdoors in her free time, playing racquetball, running and hiking all over the Northwest, snowboarding, and spending time at the coast. She looks forward to getting to know patients and their families over the years and having the honor of caring for the next generation.
